Medical & educational disclaimer

Please read this disclaimer before using ScholaMed courses, assessments, AI-supported tools or other educational resources.

Last updated: 31 July 2026
ScholaMed is an educational platform. It does not provide medical diagnosis, individual treatment advice, emergency services or a substitute for independent clinical judgement.

1. Healthcare professional education

ScholaMed content is intended primarily for healthcare professionals and professional learners. Courses and supporting materials are provided for general education and continuing professional development.

2. Not medical advice

Information on ScholaMed must not be used as the sole basis for diagnosing or treating any patient. Always consider the individual patient, current official prescribing information, applicable clinical guidelines, institutional policies and local laws.

3. Clinical responsibility

Users remain solely responsible for their professional decisions and actions. Completion of a ScholaMed course does not establish competence to perform a procedure, prescribe a treatment or practise outside the user’s professional registration and scope.

4. Accuracy and currency

Medical knowledge, product information and clinical guidance change over time. ScholaMed aims to present useful, source-led educational content but does not guarantee that every item is complete, error-free or current at the time it is viewed. Check important information against authoritative and up-to-date sources.

5. Medicines, devices and product information

Any reference to a medicine, device, manufacturer or treatment does not constitute endorsement or a recommendation for use. Indications, approvals, contraindications and availability may differ by country. Refer to the locally approved product information before making clinical decisions.

6. AI-supported answers

AI-generated responses may be incomplete, outdated or incorrect. They are provided to support general medical learning and must be independently verified. Do not enter patient names, contact details, medical record numbers or other identifiable patient information into ScholaMed AI tools.

7. Assessments and certificates

Scores and certificates record completion within the ScholaMed platform. They do not represent a medical licence, specialist qualification or recognised accreditation unless the relevant programme page expressly states otherwise.

8. Emergencies

ScholaMed is not an emergency service. Anyone facing a medical emergency should contact the appropriate local emergency service or qualified healthcare provider immediately.
