By accessing ScholaMed, creating an account or using a course, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the Medical & Educational Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
2. Eligibility and professional status
Some ScholaMed services are intended only for healthcare professionals. You must provide accurate account information and must not misrepresent your identity, qualifications, registration or professional status. ScholaMed may request verification or restrict access where eligibility cannot be confirmed.
3. Your account
- Keep access to your email and sign-in method secure.
- Do not share an account or allow another person to complete learning or assessments in your name.
- Notify ScholaMed if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
- You may use the profile controls to update or delete your account.
4. Educational use
ScholaMed provides professional education, not patient-specific medical advice. You remain responsible for verifying information and exercising independent clinical judgement. The Medical & Educational Disclaimer forms part of these terms.
5. Acceptable use
You must not misuse ScholaMed. Prohibited activity includes attempting unauthorised access, disrupting the service, uploading malicious code, copying assessments, impersonating another person, using automated scraping tools, or using content in a way that infringes intellectual property or privacy rights.
6. Patient information and confidentiality
Do not submit identifiable patient information to courses, feedback forms, support channels or AI-supported tools. You are responsible for complying with professional confidentiality obligations and applicable data-protection requirements.
7. Courses, scores and certificates
Course availability, assessments, passing scores and completion requirements may change. A ScholaMed certificate records platform completion only and does not constitute a medical licence, specialist qualification or formally accredited credit unless the programme page expressly states that accreditation applies.
8. Intellectual property
ScholaMed and its licensors retain ownership of the platform, branding, course materials, assessments and related content. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the content for your own professional learning. You may not reproduce, sell, publish or commercially distribute it without written permission.
9. Third-party services and links
ScholaMed may use or link to third-party services, including sign-in, email, video, reference and AI services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. ScholaMed is not responsible for third-party websites or services outside its control.
10. Availability and account action
ScholaMed may update, suspend or discontinue any part of the service. Access may be restricted where necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance or suspected misuse. We will take reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary disruption.
11. No warranties
ScholaMed is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no guarantee is made that the platform will always be uninterrupted, error-free, complete or suitable for a particular professional purpose.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ScholaMed will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the platform or reliance on educational content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated to reflect changes in the service or applicable requirements. The updated date will be shown on this page. Continued use after an update means that you accept the revised terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts of competent jurisdiction in India will have jurisdiction, subject to any rights that applicable law gives you in another location.
